Raised the issue of poor road conditions across Raniganj town, NH-14 bypass, Punjabi More, and
service roads.
Organized a sit-in Dharna with NGOs to demand urgent repairs.
Pressed for new bridges across the Damodar at Burnpur and Durgapur Barrage.
Addressed Garui River flooding, pond desilting, parking shortage, and sanitation drives.
Represented issues of encroachments, Raja Bandh pond, and Rabin Sen Stadium.

Held from 16th–19th January 2025 at Searsole Raj Maidan, the Coalfield Trade Expo–2025 emerged
as a landmark achievement of our Chamber.
Over 80 exhibitors showcased products and services across multiple sectors.
Received widespread appreciation from government, media, and the public.
4. Medical & Health
Organized blood donation camps and free health check-ups with reputed hospitals.
Initiated tie-ups with Mission Hospital, IQ City, Shuvadarsini, and Health World.
5. Postal Services
Raised issues of poor facilities and link failures at Raniganj HPO, Khansuli, and Searsole.
Requested continuation of PRS booking facility at SearsoleRajbari Post Office.
Conducted interactive meetings with postal officials for service improvement.
6. Banking & Finance
Addressed grievances: ATM/coin shortages, wrong charges, subsidy delays, OD closures.
Held interactive sessions with bank managers.
Facilitated Property Tax & Trade Licence Camps with AMC.
7. Industry & Trade
Represented to ECL and Coal India on tender processes, CSR support, and sand transport.
Raised issues with WBSEDCL regarding unplanned power cuts.
Organized Weights & Measures verification camp, benefitting 300+ members.
Took up matters of GST, garbage tax, stamp paper shortages, and encroachments.
8. Legal, Safety & Civic Matters
Renewed demand for Circuit Bench of Calcutta High Court at Asansol.
Raised issues of land mutation irregularities and plan sanction delays.
Requested high-reach fire ladder for Raniganj Fire Services.
Urged vigilance against incidents affecting safety of school children.
Pursued matters of dust pollution, civic amenities, parking, and encroachment removal.
9. Community & Member Engagement
Coordinated with police for peaceful festivals (Ram Navami, Holi, UrushMela).
Observed Independence Day, Republic Day, Founder’s Day, and organized cultural activities.
Ladies’ Wing held the All-Women Trade Show and Food Fantasia competition.
Organized tree plantation drives and environmental programmes.
